My mother used to be a wedding photographer and very talented pre-photoshop-era hand retoucher. I grew up in a world full of cameras, printed photos and coloured pencils but my personal photography journey started at the age of 16. During the weekends I usually helped my mother at her weddings, as her assistant, by just carrying and taking care of the equipment; imagine how boring that was for a teenager. So I decided to take some pictures with the telephoto camera from where I stand as I was too shy to get closer to the real action. In the end, my pictures were good enough to have a place in the couple’s photo album. In that moment I realised that I knew what I had to do.
Now I am a professional photographer and my purpose is to make things look at their best. I can only be pleased when my work works for you.
